The Latest out there~ Lake Siskiyou I first decided to check out what's happening at Lake Siskiyou. The drive down North Shore Road is very pot holed-out! It is plowed but still very challenging. Wagon Creek Bridge looks inviting.  Red Barn, Castle Crags State Park A little further south I decided to check out what's happening along Castle Creek Road located in the Castle Crags State Park area. The crags weren't showing in the clouds. This red barn has its own unique look. I love the oak trees around it. There is still lots of snow and the park itself is closed.  Hedge Creek Waterfalls This waterfall is rockin! There is still snow on the trail but walkable. Learn more on a tour or my book, "Mount Shasta Guide to Fun".  Road closed at lower gate, Everitt Memorial Highway. The mountain road (Everitt Memorial Highway) and Castle Lake Road are still closed at the lower gates. There is no estimated time when they will open. We hope soon!
