Happy Customer Feedback
Robin Kohn guided me on Mt Shasta on two separate occasions. She REALLY knows the mountain and the area. She has many interesting facts to share as well as knowledge that is helpful for mountaineering or hiking in general. Robin’s specific wisdom as it applies to the mountain of Shasta makes you glad that you hired her as your personal, or group, guide.
Robin made a point of really caring about what adventure I was interested in and accommodating the two days that she guided me to fit my requests. Robin tailors your day that she guides you on to your priorities and tastes for what is fun for you. She did not say to choose from these options that are offered, but instead, having spent a phone call and a follow up e-mail asking questions and collecting information about what Mount Shasta fun I was interested in, she then made suggestions to fit.

In our 70s and short on time to research, this last July we turned to Robin to lead us and our eight grandchildren (ages 6 to 17) on a day hike and to fill us in on local lore, natural history, and adventure stories. She did not disappoint! The hike was one we could have done on our own, but with Robins rich store of information and stories, it became a memorable experience. (Ask her to tell her bear story!) She was great with the kids and I marveled at her ability to keep us all on track without having to crack a whip.
