It's starting to feel a lot like summer. Temperatures are rising, snow is melting and wildflowers are started to bloom.  Mt. Shasta, Ca. Mt. Shasta with interesting clouds hovering around it lately. There is still snow at the higher elevations on Mt. Shasta. Climbing and skiing conditions are good. Come play in the snow before it melts.  Lower McCloud Falls, McCloud, Ca. Waterfalls are gushing, creeks are singing and the lakes are reflecting with bright rays. Enjoy a sacred/scenic tour and visit these incredible places.  Black Butte, Mt. Shasta Black Butte is a Plug Dome Volcano which rises vertically 2,000 ft at an almost 45 degree angle from the valley floor to an elevation of 6,325 ft.  Top of Black Butte 6,325 ft. This is David who drove and flew by Black Butte many times and always wanted to hike it. Well yesterday (June 3) he did it!  Amazing views from the top of Black Butte.
